Earning Service Hours

Posted on Aug 8 2012 - 9:27am

Hello Scouts,

I am doing my Eagle project on Monday, August 20th between 10am-3pm and I
could use a handful of Scouts for this work. The project is to spray paint
evacuation signs on walls at the Currier Art Center in Manchester, NH. I am
in need of older Scouts to do the painting and younger Scouts to assist
with set-up and clean-up. The day will be fun and I promise to have a good
lunch. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can assist. I only
need about 2-4 more older Scouts and 4-6 younger Scouts. At present, I
have confirmed that the following are helping.

Thomas E.
Dewey B.
Adam G.
Dan B.

Once I have all the names, I will follow up with additional details.

Thanks in advance,

Max Gagnon

Earning Service Hours

Hey 414,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! I'm sending out this email because I’m trying to wrap up my eagle project before October 13th! It’s a race against the clock at this point and I really need some help with the fund raiser portion of my eagle project. I'm having a bake sale this Friday at the harvest market from 12-4, I would love it if people brought some treats, wanted to help sell some treats, and any volunteers get service hours! Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some cookies and brownies left over for us hard working volunteers. So if you’re available and would like to help, buy, and or provide some baked goods, come to: the Harvest Market on Friday the 10th from 12-4.

Your fellow scout,

Adam G.

Troop 414 and the Pan Mass Challenge

Posted on Jul 28 2012 - 2:37pm

Hello to the Troop 414 Family!

Some of you may have heard of the upcoming
(August 4-5) Pan Mass Challenge, if not you should take a look -
www.pmc.org. The PMC is one of the nation's largest and most successful
fundraising events. All funds (100%) of the money raised goes to support
the fantastic work being done at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Well,
two of our Troop 414 Family, David Hammer and Larry Gagnon, will be
participating in this magnificent event. If the battle against cancer is
important to you as it is for David and Larry, please consider going to
www.pmc.org/egifts and sponsoring one or both these gentlemen. You can
also follow the event on NECN during the weekend.

Be well and as cyclists say, "keep the rubber side down".  Kyle E.
