Hey Scouts,

We have finalized our plans for this upcoming event. For food, we will be cooking breakfasts and snacks as patrols. You must provide your own lunch and dinner. This is what will be provided to each scout:

   2 packets of instant oatmeal
   2 boxes of raisons
   2 Poptarts
   3 granola bars
   2 Crystal Light Packets

When buying your other meals, please remember they need to be easy to cook. All we will have is a small stove and boiling water. Also they need to be easily packed and the trash taken out. Each scout must bring a small garbage bag for his personal garbage. Bring in your fully packed pack this thursday so it can be inspected. I will bring mine as an example.

PLC members, I found out yesterday there is a 'big' track meet at the high school Tuesday afternoon and evening which involves numerous scouts. So, Dewey and I decided it would be best to postponed the PLC (Patrol Leaders Council) meeting scheduled for tomorrow until next Wednesday, May 16th. Thanks, Mr. Reeks

Please wear your Class A Uniform to the Troop Meeting this week (May 10th). 

Some of you may remember the day Ed Webster came to visit our troop?  He tells his story of climbing Mt. Everest through a wonderful power point presentation!!  He brings some of his gear and he will also have his book available for sale.  All Scouts are invited, as well as their parents and siblings.  We only ask if siblings do attend that a parent attends with them.

This is an event sponsored by the Troop and you will not want to miss it!!!
