Our next ScoutIng at Home challenge is to build a water filter/purifier.  There are several designs you can choose from.  You just need to choose a design, put it together, test it out then explain how it works at our troop meeting on April 30th.    Have fun!  Here are links to some designs:

  We would like to collaborate with Troop 5 in collecting donations for our local medical professionals who have dedicated themselves to helping our community overcome the COVID-19 crisis.  We're collecting medical supplies such as masks (there are instructions on how to make home made masks on the website) and sanitizers, and also other essentials such as "chapstick, chocolate, gum, hair ties, head bands, hand-lotion (non-scented), mints, pre-packaged snacks, pre-paid Dunkin' gift cards, protein bars, and travel-size dry shampoo".  I know that the Elliot has a Dunkin' in the hospital itself, and I'm sure that donations of gift cards would be appreciated by medical staff working long shifts.
