Hey Scouts,

Need service hours, like to paint, simply want to help me on my Eagle project and have some fun?

I am looking for some cool scouts to help me paint some trim on the shed I am building for my Eagle Project.

You wiil need to be on a ladder very high up (12 feet).  If you're under 14, one of your parents will have to stay and help (while you're on a ladder).  If you are 14 or older and have painted and do not mind being high on a ladder you do not need a parent to stay (another scout will help you while you are on the ladder).

It should only take about two hours with 3 to 5 scouts.  I have everything needed for the job.

Kyle E, Mac C, Bryce L, and Matt M just completed a 20+ mile hike through the Pemigewasset Wilderness Saturday (8/17). It took about 11 hours to trek through the "valley of the roots", over the "field of boulders", past the "sloping hills" across mighty rivers, and up the rock stairway to Zealand Hut to begin their long journey.

Hello Troop 414,

There have been a few changes taking place over the summer.  The first is that Mrs. Delamater will be the new Troop Store Manager.  So you need to see her from now on to order your Class "B" T-shirts, Fleece, caps and other Troop 414 logo items.

Mrs. Eno has become the new Advancement Chair.  She has been working real hard entering all the awesome awards everyone has been earning over the summer into Troopmaster.  She hopes to be done entering awards by the first Troop meeting.

Mrs. Eno plans on being at the first Troop meeting a little early and will stay late.  If you have been working on awards or advancement over the summer, make sure you bring your blue cards and/or scout handbook to the meeting so she can record your information.

For those who are ready to advance to the next rank, please email Mrs. Eno at saraeno@yahoo.com so that she can put you on a list.  Scoutmaster conferences (SMC) and Board of Reviews (BoR) will begin September 12th as needed.

It’s that time for me to be doing an Eagle project. For a fund raiser we’ll be doing a car wash at Bedford Youth Performing Company. It would be great if you guys could help out. The date is September 7. I will keep you posted as the time gets closer.
