Flags on the 48

Posted on Aug 9 2017 - 6:57pm

We will be hiking Mount Tecumseh on September 9th as part of the Flags on the 48 event.  We will honor the deceased of 9/11 attacks with a tribute: flying the American flag atop all 48 four-thousand foot and higher mountains in New Hampshire on the weekend closest to September 11 each year. By demonstrating our steadfast unity in this challenging endeavor, we also hope to express our unwavering support to the families, friends and communities whose losses are beyond comprehension and whose suffering we remember in our hearts.

Conservation Service Hours Opportunity

Posted on May 28 2017 - 11:05am

The Bedford Conservation Committee is having a spring trail clean-up day at Pulpit Rock on Saturday, June 3rd.  Anyone interested in volunteering to work should arrive at 9am at the New Boston Road entrance with gloves, trash bags, loppers and handsaws as well as plenty of water, bug repellent and sunscreen.   This is a good opportunity to earn conservation service hours and serve your community.
