I need two Senior Scouts to help me run the orienteering event on 3 Dec at Camp Carpenter. This requires some help in setting up the course and time keeping for the participants. If you are interested please le me know. You can email me at scoutmaster@troop414.org.
Mac's Eagle Court of Honor will take place at the Bedford Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 17th at 7:00 pm. Please use the link on the event registration page if you would like to attend the ceremony. We hope to see you there!
Sunday, November 4, 2012 • Looking for volunteers to direct runners at two locations on the race course. This is a fun job! • This opportunity is open to older Scouts and adults. • For Scouts service time is available and this might count for their school community service time. • The length of volunteer time is between 4-5 hours. • Race swag will be provided (T-shirt, etc.)
On behalf of the Troop 414 Committee, I would like to invite you to our mid-year Court of Honor on Thursday, March 27th at Bedford Presbyterian Church at 6:30 PM.
Scouts and families are invited to attend as we recognize and celebrate the achievements of our Scouts.
Remember, it is our tradition to also recognize the parents of any Scout earning a rank advancement (Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, etc. ). So, we ask that at least one parent attend with their Scout. For parents of new scouts, we will present you with a ribbon on which to place a special parent’s pin.
As always, light refreshments will be served. Attending families are asked to bring a snack to share. Please sign up to bring something using the attached sign-up link. (Beverages will be provided by the troop.)
